自殺。何で死ぬ時まで周りの事も考えない自分勝手な人なんだろうと思ってました。
でも、かなりの時を経て私は気づきました。
周りの事を考えないのではなく、考えられないほど追い込まれているという事を。
なので、周りが気づいてあげないといけないという事も。
簡単にはいきませんよね。相手の考えていることなんて知らないし、、、
でも、何かしらのSOSは出していたような気がします。
ほんのわずかなことなんだけど、大切な人ほどちゃんと見てあげて下さい。
そばにいることは、決してあたりまえではないです。
交通事故や自然災害、不慮の事故で突然いなくなることもあります。
ちゃんと、いつでも思いは伝えて下さい。
「おはよう」や「ありがとう」の何気ない一言が助けになることもあるので。

Wrap-Up
Suicide. For a long time, I used to think, why would someone be so selfish that they couldn’t think of the people around them, even at the moment of their own death.
But after a good long while, I came to realize something.
It’s not that they weren’t thinking of the people around them — it’s that they’d been pushed to a place where they couldn’t think that far anymore.
Which means the people around them are the ones who need to notice.
That’s not easy, though. We don’t really know what’s going on inside someone else’s head…
But I think, looking back, there probably was some kind of SOS being sent out.
Even if it’s the smallest thing, please really pay attention to the people who matter to you.
Having them by your side is never something to take for granted.
People can suddenly be gone because of a traffic accident, a natural disaster, an unexpected accident.
So please, always make sure to say what you feel.
Sometimes even something as small as “good morning” or “thank you” can be the thing that helps someone through.
