面白くないから寝てしまったと勘違いしてて、何年後かにたまたま見る機会がありまして。

As for me — the first time I tried to watch it, I was completely exhausted and fell asleep somewhere around the opening scene. I mistakenly assumed it must have been boring, and left it at that. Then, years later, I happened to come across it again.
Conclusion: it was really, really good.
